- For Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2003 user:

If you are receiving this error message while using MS Excel, use Microsoft Fix It KB21149. It will automatically Turn off the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) setting.
